beast from water?

Dear Journal,

who named him chief who does he think he is! why does it alway happen this way ? the assemble today was so hectic. this meeting was so late and tiring, it was dark, all i seen was the outlines of peoples bodies under the moon light. this meeting was to talk about rules and regulations and punishment if these rules weren't being followed . the signal fire was the biggest one for me, this is the closest thing that we have to a chance at rescue. it was a mandatory in case a plane or ship passes by, like in the pass! this assembly was about what had to be done to be rescued because No one will come rescue us by luck. little fires are not

If the fire gets out of hand again, who knows what it would burn. if the go up to the mountain they will understand the importance of the fire if theres no fire they wont eat. we also talked about the bathrooms. when we first got stranded on this island we came to the agreement to only use the rocks as a restroom but the littluns have been doing it where ever the please.there even short by the fruit trees and the huts thats gross thats where we eat and sleep! I want structure on this island, which means no more using the fruit trees as a place to take a short!

The last topic was the ludicrous monster known as the beastie. All of the littluns are traumatized of the beast, even though the beast is not real ! They all talk and cry in fear of the beastie will get them in their sleep. The littlun, Percival was also so scared and filled with grief . Piggy had to persuade him until he finally said something about a beast coming out of the water. This left everyone thinking and worried, since no one had ever seen any monster rise out of the water. one of the littluns thought that it might be a giant squid

, but no one was sure how a squid could come up onto the beach. Then Simon tried to explain his theory he thought the beast is mans disgustingist thing. I'm not sure what he meant. The only thing I can think of is evil and the devil. does Simon believes us all to be evil?

That was about when the trouble began. the bickering began and Even some of the biguns joined in. jack started being a hobnokcker and questioning my ability to be chief. as chief they should listen to me and respect my authority . Jack doesn’t agree. He was so angry, he finally stormed off, unable to contain his temper. Unfortunately, all of the littluns followed in his wake. Everything turned savage and chaotic. I was afraid to blow the conch; moreover, I was afraid that no one will respond when I call. I’ve been thinking, maybe I shouldn’t be chief. None of the other boys seem to want to listen to me. They all are starting to like Jack more and more. At first, everyone obeyed the rules and listened intently. Piggy tries to induce me to continue being chief. He says if I resign, there is nothing holding Jack back from doing something really evil to Piggy or the littluns. I wonder what Jack would do if I resigned...
