beast from air?

Dear Journal,
Lately we've had quite a disagreement about this talk about the beastie and about whether or not it exists. Were all on the beach... asleep, or at least trying to sleep; except for Sam n’ Eric who are up on the mountain keeping watch on the signal fire. This means that the boys don’t see what happens in the skies over their Island. An explosion... the boys Sam n' Eric don't know what to do, so they scream. Then... a parachute. The parachutist lands on the island, and the boys don't know what to do because they dont know if it's the beastie and are too scared to look. Unfortunately it’s dark. They can’t see what it is so of course, they assume that they are seeing the beastie. The twins run back down to the beach to tell the others what they thought they saw, exaggerating the truth.

After spreading this rumor to everyone, everyone got frightened. Yet to come; another disagreement, about what to do about the beastie. Ralph wanted to do a game plan, before finding out what it was. So did I, and Simon. We were being caring, and not only thinking about ourselves, UNLIKE Jack. We wanted to keep the littleuns safe in case there really is this, beast. But Jack, always has to have his way. He just had to be the best hunter and go and kill the beast once and for all. But that's pretty much what everyone wanted to do. But, he sometimes just makes me, ughh, mad. I have ONE EYE, well basically. Because stupid Jack broke my specs so now I can only see out of one eye, because he broke the lens.

Eric had said it looked like a snake. The others weren't sure. Eric had also claimed it had bitten him. But, yet that could just be a snake. Im not sure if there's a beastie. But I'm sure that if there is Jack is determined to find it and eventually kill it. That's all I have to say for now. Well, I'll write some other time,
