I think that this is very powerful because it shows what the people went through on a day to day bases. Ishmael had to witness the gruesome sight that a normal person wouldnt be able to sit through.no on should have to go through what ishmael had to go through witnessing the bloddy body that was ccarried away right before his eyes. he will have to fight as a rebal to be train to bretect hiis self from the dangers that comes his way no child should have to go through that. this book makes me feel like im day dreaming like im going throught the same thing he had to but im scared and he isnt.
