What does this book make you wonder about? Why?

this book makes me wonder about why the world was like this at one point in time. black couldn't walk the street with out feeling unsafe and unequal . why blacks and whites had to be labeled as superiority. I found out that this is still happening in society today but its sugar coated. It makes me wounder "when I get older if me being a black man in America if I am going to be able to get a corporal job in white society." I wonder why an educated successful black man was such a threat to society.
Which character would you like to be like? In what way? Why?
i would like to be Malcolm x because he is very intellectual and a successful black man and our child hood is kinda the same in the seance of i was placed as a statistic in my elementary school basically i was treated as if i wouldn't amount up to any thing but another unemployed African American when i get older and that is how they treated Malcolm in this book and i am striving to be successful like him.
